Yesterday I visited grandma and she guided me through making the heels for my socks. The day after, when I’m writing this I’ve already forgotten how the heck I managed to make those heels, so some more tutoring will be needed.

The first part of the first sock is already done. The work went along quickly and before I knew it, I reached the heel section. Because I have absolutely no clue about how to make the heel, I’ll have to wait until I can get back to grandma’s place, before continuing the sock. So, in stead I’ve started on the second sock.

Yep, this is turning into a sock. It has been ridiculously slow going, but it’s getting better for every row. I probably made a mistake in the sock yarn I chose to work with. Being a dark grey color it’s a bit difficult to always clearly see every stitch. However, this is what I chose, so I might as well just get on with it.

Another project has been completed with the help of my lovely grandmother. She has been knitting and sewing for a lifetime, and was more than happy to help me complete the latest project. Half an hour passed after I had arrived at my grandmothers place, and I was presented with the final result.
