Yep, this is turning into a sock. It has been ridiculously slow going, but it’s getting better for every row. I probably made a mistake in the sock yarn I chose to work with. Being a dark grey color it’s a bit difficult to always clearly see every stitch. However, this is what I chose, so I might as well just get on with it.
The sock yarn is quite thin, so I’m using 2,5mm needles for this project. I decided to invest in some longer DPNs to avoid dropping stitches off the ends of the needles. The ones I’m using now are from KnitPro. Initially I was a bit worried I would break these needles, as they’re made of wood, but they seem to be holding up just fine.
Now to keep wrangling all these needles and get used to them constantly being in the way.
